Larijani who was speaking at the closing ceremony of the Iranian Cultural Attachés Gathering at the Culture and Islamic Communications Organization (CICO) on Monday, reiterated, “Keeping in mind the cultural conditions in various countries, we need to present our cultural works in a way to suit their mental set ups.”

Larijani said that in the minds of most foreign politicians Islam is manly regarded as a general and propagation faith with no depth, he said, “This is hazardous and more precise work needs to be done in this respect to draw the attention of the public to the teachings of the Infallible Household of the Prophet (P).”

He emphasized, “It is our permanent duty to introduce the Islamic Revolution, but we need to pay attention to the proper place and the appropriate methods for ding so.”

Addressing the Iranian Foreign Attachés abroad, the Majlis speaker said, “We need to act more seriously in introduction of Islam, the Shi’a mentality, the teachings of the Infallible Household of the Prophet (P) and the Islamic Revolution.”

Referring to peaceful coexistence as a theory of the Islamic Revolution, he reiterated, “We need to act precisely since the enemies have drawn a different image of Islam in the world.”

The Parliament speaker meanwhile referred to Islamic unity as another theory of the Islamic Revolution, reiterating, “Achieving global Islamic unity is one of the objectives of the Islamic Revolution and there are of course plots hatched against this goal that need to be eliminated.”

He said that democracy is another theory of the Islamic Revolution, emphasizing, “Democracy is the essence of the Islamic mentality and we need to show this in practice to the world nations.”

The Majlis speaker said that freedom is another theory of the Islamic Revolution, reiterating, “Freedom of speech and thoughts need to be observed all the time and this is part and parcel of the literature of the Islamic Revolution.”

Larijani reiterated, “We are proud that the late Imam (Khomeini – P) led and introduced the Islamic Revolution and stood tall against the oppressors.”

He said that support for Hezbollah and Hamas is one of the system’s theories, reiterating, “This would lead to Iran’s grandeur and it would yield great benefits for us.”

Larijani emphasized, “We need to introduce to the world nation our defense for the oppressed, which is one of the theories of the Islamic Revolution.”

The speaker said that the west has created a number of challenges in world public opinion, like the one on including peaceful nuclear activities of Iran, reiterating, “The Culture and Islamic Communications Organization must monitor this issue and make moves aimed at annulling its effects.”

Larijani emphasized, “Opposition against atomic bombs and chemical weapons is a theory of the Islamic Revolution.”

The Parliament speaker pointed out that the issue of respecting the human rights is one of the theories of the Islamic Revolution, emphasizing, “The respected frameworks for the human rights by the Islamic Revolution should be introduced more effectively.”

Referring to the recent ratification of the International Iranian Nouruz Day Resolution at the United Nations and addressing the Cultural Attachés, he said, “We are at the threshold of Nouruz; you can invite the entire friendship groups and in the meanwhile introduce Islam.”
