Naqavi Hosseini elaborated the details of Araqchi remarks in the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission which was held on Monday.
Deputy foreign minister for legal and international affairs said that sanctions imposed on Iran in key areas of energy, transportation and banking have been removed according to the JCPOA, but how much the government could use the opportunity is another issue, the MP quoted.
According to Naqavi, Araqchi said that investment in the oil and gas sectors and selling oil and petrochemical products abroad have been normalized and the Islamic Republic has access to the exported oil money.
U.S. first sanctions prevented use of U.S. financial and banking system by Iran and JCPOA should not be blamed for the problems in this field including the currency exchange, the MP quoted deputy foreign minister.
Naqavi quoted Araqchi that the new US President Donald Trump is one of the challenges on the way of execution of JCPOA, but there is consensus in the international community in support of the deal.
Saudi Arabia and some other sides are pressuring Trump and provoke him against Iran, Araqchi said being quoted by Naqavi.
Deputy foreign minister said that Trump and his team are provoking Iranophobia to prevent Iran to enjoy JCPOA benefits, the MP quoted him.
Iran has now a strong status in all fields including the missile field and major issues caused Iraniophobia have been resolved and deterred, Araqchi said being quoted by Naqavi.
Head of JCPOA follow-up commission underlined in the meantime that US hostility towards Iran has not ended, the lawmaker added.
